The author of this book is the son of Philip McGraw, the famous (or infamous) Dr. Phil. It does have some insight, covering material that can sometimes be scattered in a multitude of self-improvement books and honing it into at least a guide for struggling pre-teens. I'd recommend it.

This book is actually very good. It hits every teenage "problem" right on the head. I read it when my parents got it for me and it is hilarious. It also has some fun little exercises. I loved it!

Great book, a must buy for Teens!
Good book.
I am using this with my 7th grade class
I wonder what the ratio of Books Bought by Parents/Books Actually Read by Teens is.
