Of all the books I've read so far this year, this has got to be my least favorite. I am starting to truly believe Amanda Ford wrote and published this book simply to build back some of the money she spent mindlessly shopping. When I received this book as a gift, I was misled by the title thinking it would be absolutely adorable. Quite the contrary, I found it to be extremely annoying. In one section, the author gives suggestions of things to do other than shop. One was "color in a coloring book." I was certain next I'd read to get my Barbie dolls out of my attic and dress them in fabulous fashions to tame the wild shopping beast within. The author also presented herself with a bit of a feministic view on men and spending money (yours and theirs). I didn't hate this book and I read it full through. It just wasn't what I expected at all.

A book on how to become a smarter shopper and person! Funny, cute and actually helpful!

Interesting characters and events. Good for young readers. Funny and good for a few giggles.
This was reasonably cute. I'm not a big shopper so I thought most of it sounded like someone trying to validate why they like to shop so much...
"Look! I bought this $200 dress and now I understand blah blah blah"
LOL!
It was a cute book though and it did make a few good points ;)
