Parts of the book are slow while some articles are so funny and insightful. This book is full of short articles Connie wrote as a newspaper reporter. I preferred the book she penned after: "...And his Lovely Wife".

From the very first pages, this book got my attention. It is a series of newspaper columns that can be read in short passages. They have been grouped by theme. I have recommended it to all of my friends. She doesn't waste words to evoke strong feelings. Great read.

Great collection of essays written a regular American, who just happens to be a columnist.
