Very interesting account of Jane's life and journeys. It really explains some things. Nice account of some of the films and the making of them. I guess part of the reason I found it interesting is that I live in Atlanta, have met some of the people she mentions, and have heard a lot about their apartment that Ted had in CNN.

Very interesting insight into one of America's second generation movie stars, (and first generation activist), the book is one BIG read. Jane describes her life as a 3 act play, with each act being approximately 30 years long. She made a very conscious decision to dig deep within herself to understand what happened in the first two acts in order to live to the fullest in her third act. I was surprised at how down to earth she is and as full of insecurities in her first two acts as most of us are. She was very open about sharing most details of her life and also was discreet enough not to divulge too many details of her private relationships with the men in her life. Now I want to rent all of her movies that she mentioned to see if I can pick up on some of the tidbits she shared. Very good overall.

I really enjoyed this book. I found Jane Fonda to be very insightful and she's really lead an interesting life. At almost 600 pages, it's a long book but I read it in just a few days.
Jane Fonda has led an amazing life indeed. This autobiography had much more heart than I expected. I felt even closer to her than before.
Ecellent telling of a famous life. Lots of neat photos.
