I loved this Koontz! There were some really comical parts, the kind that make you chuckle or even laugh out loud. I thought that the characters in this story had more depth than some in of his other books I've read or listened to. Maybe because their humorous side showed through while most of his other characters display no humor what-so-ever. As usual, there were still the Koontz twists and turns so you were never sure where it was leading. Definitely a must listen, or read, for Koontz fans. And for goodness sake, stay away from the clown!!!

Another goofy Koontz books, the man is a great writer of suspense, he is terrible at comedy. If he tries to write something humorous, it only comes across as goofy. Example: Man: They say I am without grace. Girl: Who? Man: Who? Girl: They. Man: Who, they?

All of the days center around a deranged clown and his feud with the circus's aerialists. Pass on this one.

Wonderful and Entertaining.
The characters are very interesting and the villians are crazy and interesting. The funny tone of the book is a delight, which makes the story more wonderful. Involves clowns and regular decent people and perseverance. The narrator has a wonderful storytelling voice.
