An exploration into the traditions of Judaism and what it means to perform these rituals. The author sheds light into why Jews do what they do. I thought the book was very informative for a non-practicing Jew such as myself. He gave me a better understanding of the meaning of Jewish fundamentals, such as the Sabbath and the High Holy days, and why Jewish synagogues are not ornate, like those in the Catholic religion. I feel a deep sense of pride now of the Jewish traditions.
