Seventh in the Rivers of London fantasy/mystery series, and for heaven's sake don't try to start here. I won't go over the plot details. There's no mystery element in this book, it's an all-out race to find and stop the Faceless Man now that they know who he is. And also Lesley May, who's helping the Faceless Man but also has her own agenda. I love Peter Grant, he has such an unshakeable belief in the rightness of law and doing the right thing. He is a do-gooder without being all sanctimonious about it. In fact I like all the characters, even the bad ones - even Mr. Punch has a story that makes you feel something for him. There's a lot of action in this one, a conclusion of sorts, but a lot of threads left for the story to continue. Loved it.
