I like all of the Carlotta Carlyle mysteries and this one didn't disappoint. Carlotta fights to clear her mob-connected fiancee, Sam, from suspicion of murder but finds herself more and more attracted to former cop-friend, Moony. A complicated plot, fast-paced action and a surprise ending made this an enjoyable read.

Linda Barnes does not disapoint in this Carlotta Carlyle mystery with her little sister Paolina, her fiance Sam and former partner Mooney. Fast paced. A good read.

This series is probably one of my all time favorites. I love Carlotta and all the characters. I wish Linda Barnes would write more books, quicker!
