I really enjoyed this book. It was a page turner, I read it in two days. Great story about a family in denial and how they can look perfect on the outside. It had me guessing all the way to the last few pages. I would recommend this book!

5 stars!!!! WOW! A true hidden jem, I found this in a used bookstore...This book left me breathless. An AWESOME entanglement of psychological supense, family secrets, and seductive mystery!!!! As it literally left me guessing til the very last chapter, I was so caught up in the author's flow, the twists and turns, that I actually felt anxious as it neared the end! I don't know if it's because I didn't want it to end, or if I just couldn't believe how good this book was!!!!! Liar's Diary set a new standard in what I'll expect out of a supense novel!!! This is Francis' first book, I hope she writes again soon!!!!

One of the best books I've read this year! Seemingly normal but hiding devastating secrets, a family is forced to face its demons when a new person enters their lives. The outcome is murder and the guilty party, revealed at the end, is an absolute shocker. It's hard to believe that this is the author's first novel; the plot is taut and the writing is elegant. For anyone who likes mysteries/thrillers, this should be required reading!
