It's not a bad book, but it does involve adultery with children involved, which bugged me a lot.
Based in London; Jamie thinks she has found *the* one. Mr Right. Mr. Right turns out to be Mr. Married....

Hated it. If I'd realized that the main thrust of this book was an adulterous affair, I wouldn't have bothered. I can put up with a lot in my chick-lit, but this one just turned my stomach. I didn't finish it; but I did read the last chapter to see how it ended.
I think this is the book that put an end to my chic-lit reading once and for all. It was quite stupid...and treated a serious topic (an extramarital affair) in a very frivolous manner.
This book really had me guessing until the end about how it would end. Carole Matthews is probably my favorite writer and even though this wasn't my favorite book of hers, it is still great. It is a lot more serious than she normally writes, but it is still a must read for chick-lit lovers!

Teri Carter is irritated when a man rushing to make his train knocks her down, but her annoyance turns to interest when Jamie Duncan insists on caring for her and seeing her home. Teri is smitten and Jamie certainly seems to return her affection, so why does he act so aloof and mysterious all of the time?
