I can't seem to find any books that deal with lesbians in the Middle East. I don't care whether it's fiction or non-fiction, but I'm tired of reading about guys at the moment. The closest thing I've found is a book I just finished called "Illegal Citizens: Queer Lives in the Muslim World." It had stories about gay, lesbian, and trans people, but I would really like one just about lesbians.
Any book titles?

And the book I mentioned is on my book shelf if anyone is interested. It was a great read.

Oh my gosh. Thanks so much! I know I took awhile to reply, but I sort of gave up on this thread.

Hi Anna,

I'm always on the lookout for good LGBTQ lit for young adults. I can't think of middle eastern at the moment but I can name a good number of titles of other ethnicities with female leads. Let me know if you're interested.
