Fantastic cozy!
I had not read any previous books in the series, so as a standalone for me, it was just fine. I didn't feel I was missing anything as the author did a great job filling you in when appropriate. Just enough info each time and not dragging it out.
I loved the town, its people and the amateur murder investigation.
I would love to read more in the series!
