Bennie's partner in her legal firm is murdered. Bennie is the prime suspect. She is hiding and staying ahead of the police, trying to solve the murder. She doesn't know whom to trust.

When Bennie Rosato's law partner and ex-fiance is found brutally murdered, Bennie becomes the prime suspect.

I always enjoy this author and I thought this one was another winner.

Another great read from Lisa Scotoline. Her characters as always are wise cracking, but dedicated to solving the mysteries they come across. I'd highly recommend this book!
