I really wanted to like this book but I couldn't get into it. I got half way through and gave up.
It started out pretty promising even though I was a bit put off by how much Sophie hated her werewolf self. Then I just couldn't get into how weak Sophie was. I know her character was supposed to be strong but her actions over and over again showed that she allows people to bulldoze her. She reminded me of a pinball that just bounced from lever to lever. She seemed to live a half life and never was concern with herself or her surroundings. Okay, if some paranormal guy gave me a ring I can't take off and he refuses to tell me what he is and on top of that your magical mother is worried about the ring and guy, you bet I'm going to find out everything I can about the ring and guy. Not Sophie, she just accepted everything handed to her. I know in the end she gets offered alpha and I can't help but think she is going to make one sorry alpha.
I would skip this book. Not worth it at all. I also know it was supposed to funny but I didn't catch any humor in it.
