Back of book says: Too often the poetic words of this brief prayer given by the Lord Jesus Christ are rattled off with littl understanding, with little concern for their implications for our daily lives. In this book the prayer is examined and applied phrase by phrase to deal with such practical matters as knowing God's will, experiencing the power of forgiveness, avoiding temptation, and defeating Satan.

I say: Republished in 1976 especially for use by the Billy Graham Crusade. W. Phillip Keller is one of the finest Christian writers of the 20th century. He was a shepherd in both So. Africa and the USA, a business man, a Bible teacher, and a Christian speaker. I love his books. This is an excellent book - simply presented so that the profound truths can embed in your heart and help you live closer to and better serve your Lord.

How easy it is just to rattle off the Lord's prayer from memory without really thinking or understanding it like we should.
Keller examines the prayer and applies phrase by phrase to deal with practical matters as knowing God's will, experiencing the power of forgiveness, avoiding temptation and defeating satan. A very thought provoking book.
