This was definitely the strangest ghost story I think I have ever read. It kept me reading and I wanted to know how it was going to end. But it was over the top and hard to believe as it went along. I did like how it ended so I am glad I read it. But it sure doesn't come close to living up to VERITY. I am not a fan of romance so this is only my 2nd Hoover book after VERITY blew me away. I do think she is quite a writer with a clever imagination.
