Loved this story, #1 in the series, good beginning base for a law enforcement family and their lives. Light romance, great suspense and good inspiration for personal problems. Not too preachy, but you get the idea that God is a great helper. Excellent read. Looking forward to the rest of the series. (#2 by Valerie Hansen, The Rookie's Assignment)

Good level of suspense, a well written child, a sympathetic heroine, and a strong "share your troubles with me" hero combine to make this a nice read. You should know that it is book one in a series, so although the happily ever after is pretty clear, other loose ends are intentionally not wrapped up.
