The scene facing Inspector Thanet is horrifying, the echoes of violence in shocking contrast to the stark white clinical atmosphere. The victim seemed to have everything. Yet nothing protected him from murder. Apparently, not everything in his life was as idyllic as it appeared to be. The list of suspects grows. But the secret that ultimately caused his death was more terrible than could have been imagined.

I have enjoyed all the books in this series. Inspector Thanet is a most believable policeman, and he, as well as the other characters in the books are very real people. A+ rating from me.
