"All of Lipman's books are literary gems, and My Latest Grievance is no exception. Frederica Hatch and her politically correct "before it was cool" parents will delight and entertain even the most jaded readers- perhaps those most of all. Lipman has a real knack for capturing the idiosyncrasies of academia, and this provides limitless opportunities for brilliant satire." amazon review

Lipman's latest. Not as good as her others but still fun, if you are a fan.
Love her books. All of them. They're entertaining, funny and lift me up. This book had a different atmosphere than her other books, in a way, and I enjoyed it every bit as much as I have her previous books that Ive read.
Funny and light. Great vacation read.
I loved My Latest Grievance by Elinor Lipman; I thought it was hilarious. It's the story of a girl who grows up on a college campus where her parents are professors and the only married dorm parents. But when she turns sixteen, she learns about her father's first wife -- who wants to be a dorm parent, too. Brilliantly performed by Mia Barron.
Good summer read.
