Oh my goodness! What a great book. I don't usually like books with lots of people/characters to keep track of. When I opened this book and saw a family + tree on two of the beginning pages, I said to myself 'uh, oh. This could be complicated. I'll give it a try anyway'. I'm so glad I did and kept reading. I think the book spans about 100 years and the lives of a well-off family and their 'help'. Great, great, great!
