Where do I even begin with this book. It was captivating, thought provoking, emotion tugging beauty filled with dimensional characters that will have you laughing, crying, and wondering what will happen next. The book goes back and forth from past to present so that you may get an idea of things that are taking place that are relevant to this beautiful story. It is set in 1960's London for the most part and then 1940's Italy. The author really caught the sentiment and setting of the Italian landscape and at times will have you wishing you were there to see it all. Full of mystery and suspense this book is sure to have you going from page to page and beginning to end without stopping.
