This is my first book by this author. The writing was good, and I laughed out loud at times, but it left me feeling sad. The book was upbeat and funny, but it managed to remind me that one day I will grow old and die. Time is running away with me. I think The book is great if you want a reminder of your mortality, or if you want to spend a few hours with people who are also growing old and slowly dying.

I have read a few books by Elizabeth Berg and was always very pleased with them. I loved the Art of Mending and Open House. This one drew me in then it got to the climax and I was like...really this is the turning point of the story??? From there it was downhill. It left me feeling like the ending was rushed, cut short so to speak. One of the main characters dies and there was no reflection whatsoever on his death from the other characters point of view. I was disappointed in this to say the least.

this was a great read so true to life and a great reunion story that tells it like it is.

Elizabeth Berg has written another great story with "The Last Time I Saw You". This is different than other books that I have read of hers because there are 5 main characters instead of just one. Some of these characters I didn't really like at first, while others I seemed to instantly relate to. Each character has their own distinct personality so it was fun to read from chapter to chapter as each chapter goes from one character to the next. Seemed like a quick read because I got more & more interested in the characters as the story went on. Each character could, from here, have their own book!

Everyone can relate to wanting or not wanting to attend their class reunion, so this book sounded interesting to me. Several times, it was mentioned that this would be the last reunion and I'm not sure why that would be the case. The story revolved around several characters in anticipation of the reunion and the reunion itself, and the characters were fairly well written; however, after the reunion, poof! Story pretty much ended. It would've been nice to see what happened with them after the reunion rather than the fluff written. I also didn't really like the style this was written in, and perhaps that is why I wasn't a big fan of this book. I gave it 2 stars since I was able to finish it, though this book took me a lot longer than normal to read as it didn't hold my attention very long before I'd have to set it down and come back to it.

Another great read by one of my all time favorite authors. Such fun to relive some else's classic high school reunion without having to get off the couch.

This was a good book. It is about high school classmates meeting for their 40th reunion and they reminisce about the past.
I loved it! I love all of Elizabeth Berg's books. She has a wonderful way with words. It was especially poignant for me as I will be going to my own 40th high school reunion this spring.
A wonderful book about a 40th high school reunion and how five different classmates deal with old hurts, memories and other challenges in their lives. Very entertaining. laugh out loud funny in places and also very touching.
Helped me decide to NOT attend my upcoming 50th high school reunion. This was not one of my favorite Elizabeth Berg books, but they're all good. Wonderful author!
Five people preparing for their 40th high school reunion have different motives and hopes. Though nothing turns out exactly as they had planned, all are changed by the experience.
Another great one from Elizabeth Berg.
