Faster paced and better written than The Da Vinci code

This was an exciting story that reminded me of the Indiana Jones movies! Mystery, history, action... It was a little confusing at first because of the British lingo and foreign names. The lessons learned by the two main characters were endearing and were not shoved down your throat like it could have been. I very much enjoyed this story and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys mysteries or action-packed stories.

I thought this took a little while to get going-but eventually found it picked up the pace considerably. Not just a story about an ancient mystery, it also gives some insight into the continuing struggle in the Middle East. While the main characters are flawed, to say the least, they make this book entertaining and well worth the read.
