Back cover: peace and good will go out the window at Tess Darcy's Community Church in Victoria Springs the minute out-of-town drama professor Sherwood Draper walks in the door. He begins to replace everyone including the organist...she is replaced by taped music.
It turns out to be curtains for the unpopular professor before the show begins. Now it's up to Tess to find out who "done in" the professor.

It is Christmas in Victoria Springs and a murderer gives the Community Church an unexpected gift--the corpse of the wildly unpopular drama professor who is directing the annual Christmas pagent. This is the first Jean Hager book I read and was impressed enough to purchase several more.
These are bed and breakfast cozies. A young woman runs a b&b in MO, I think it is, and there's always a murder among her guests or the townspeople and she can't resist getting involved. An easy read.
Love this author~ Great cozy!!
Cozy series. Bed and Breakfast owner investigates
4th in the series. This one was a little slow for me, but I still enjoyed it.

Love the Iris House mysteries and this one had quite an interesting turn ... easy read in a day :)
Love it. Even has a church and a nativity play in it. Great victorian setting.
As with the first three, enjoyed this book very much. Very enjoyable characters and good story.
