I absolutely could not stop reading this book. It is very captivating even though there were parts that I didn't care for (overly Christian tone and the good/bad "angels" on Solo's shoulder). It is set in her alien huntress world but other than a short cameo by Dallas, it doesn't really cross paths with Showalter's previous characters.
Vika has just the right amount of sweetness and strength. She isn't really a kick butt kind of girl but she is strong in so many other ways. Solo is such a sap at heart. Together, they are the couple to make you go "awwww."
Absolutely great start to a series with awesome emotional ups and downs. Can't wait to read about Corbin Blue and John No Name's stories.
