This was a terrific read -- very human characters -- brave, foolhardy, smart, fragile -- really outstanding characterization! Both a legal and medical thriller, lots of twists and turns in the plot -- very enjoyable reading!

I love murder mysteries and I love lawyer books. This one combines them both. I couldn't put this book down, and the author has a hardback out that I would love to read. This story is unlike any plot I have ever read. Very original.

Excellent book if you like a good mystery-first I've read by this author. I will be back for more.

It was actually slow at first, but picked up fairly quickly. Basically a story of a wrong made right. Good book.

I enjoyed this book very much. It was full of suspense. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I carried it everywhere I went until I finished it.

The story was quite good, but the style was not to my liking. It is basically like the old Sam Spade books. Characters well developed by not quite believable.
