Standalone romantic suspense. An elite clique of girls known as the Five Firsts is marked by a tragedy that continues to haunt them decades later. First there were five, then they were four. Who will be killed next? A very intense suspenseful read. Kept me interested until the very end. Great writing from Lisa Jackson and her sister, Nancy Bush! Recommended for those who love romantic suspense.

I was not impressed. The intricate characters end with a big nothing denouement. I expected more.
