Very entry level gardening primer, useful for the gardening novice. The Lasagna gimmick is merely: Don't worry about soil, just pile two feet of organic material on top to the ground, wait for it to decompose, and then plant in that.
One useful tip I did glean was encouraging groundhogs to move away by dumping used cat litter down their holes. Even if it doesn't work; just imagine the personal satisfaction gained by doing this.

A gardening classic. If you need an easier way to garden then you need this book. I used a gardening technique similar to this one last year with excellent results. I would highly recommend this book to new gardeners as well as accomplished gardners.

Maybe I should have tried this technique in a raised garden bed, or perhaps there wasn't enough sun in the location I chose - but this didn't work for me.
