The third book of the "Tending Roses" series and another heart-warming read. Involving characters and situations. This is a lovely series and a wonderful book. I highly recommend this series -- it has a lot to say about family relationships and the importance of maintaining them.

Language of Sycamores is the third stand alone in a loosely connected series. Lisa Wingate writes lovingly about family life and the need for communication.

I loved "Tending Roses" by this author,,,,but felt this one fell a bit short. (Although it was still a pleasant book to read!)

A story of sibling rivalry and jealousy that keeps two sisters apart, and it is their search for the truth about their family that brings them back together again. A wonderful book to share with sisters and daughters! A Book Club guide included.

This author is very down to earth. She's written many books. I've read Tending Roses and Good Hope Road. All are good.

Used this book for our book club. Had a interesting discussion about a young laddy immersed in a high-pressure job, ignoring the emotional distance in her marriage, avoiding memories of a sudden miscarriage and a bout with cancer that stole her chance of ever having babies.
The way her life changed is very interesting

Wonderful story of how God uses difficulties, challenges & changes to redirect our lives. It's a story of a lost job, a lost relative, an unwanted child & a family that is at odds with each other & how God orchestrates change & healing & hope in the lives of those in the story. I recommend the whole series of Tending Roses. This is book 3 & can stand alone but is far more meaningful if you're read books 1 & 2.

This is a sequel to Tending Roses, which I enjoyed very much, also. (Apparently, there's a Book Two) This book tells the story of Karen, Kate from the first book's sister. She has a high pressure job and her husband is a pilot, and their lives are so busy they never see each other. She returns to Grandma Rose's old farm where her sister has been living, and her entire life changes,as much as she tries not to let it. We again meet the little neighbor girl, Dell, who plays a main part in this story. It's full of so many life lessons, heartbreaking twists, and I cried most of the way through it.

This book was amazing! It was the follow up to Tending Roses which I also adored. This book was the story of the second sister, Karen, who's busy lifestyle comes to an aprupt halt-all for the better. Love the family story beind these books. Can't wait to read the other two in the series!
