Barbara Ehrenreich is one of my favorite political essayists. This Land is Their Land follows her usual format of short, easily digestible pieces on current topics and events. The book is organized into sections covering topics such as religion, healthcare, and the decline of the middle class. As always, Ehrenreich's writing is simultaneously smart, humorous, compassionate, and insightful.

This is a collection of short essays by Barbara Ehrenreich in which she addresses gay marriage, women's rights, healthcare, fair union laws, employment, and many other issues in 2-4 pages. This book should be required reading for everyone, but particularly the wealthy.
