Book 2 in the Red River of the North Series. This book follows the Borklund widows as they continue to prove the land.
Lauraine Snelling weaves a wonderful tale of life in the 1800's as settelers, the struggles and the success as well as blending faith into it all! A heart-warming and sometimes tear-jeaking novel that will leave you wanting more.

Loved this book, this series, this author. Can't wait to get the 4th in series. The author gives us insight how hard it was settlers who came to settle this land. I love all the characters but exspecially Ingeborg a very stong independent women who trusts in God after all she has gone through.

Part of the overall Red River Series. These are best books I have read in a long time. Inspirational reading with an excellent story. Lauraine Snelling's books ahve been recommeneded by Sons of Norway, I am glad they turned me on to her work. LOVE it.

Usually the middle books in a series tend to lag a bit. NOT THIS ONE! Couldn't put this one down and couldn't wait for the next one!
