Quite possibly one of the stupidest books I've ever read. Full of ridiculous associations. I don't understand how this story made it past the editor.

A disappointment, but in a weird way. The book ended up being a typical slapstick Sheckley book, but that doesn't mesh well with Star Trek (think Spielberg vs. Kubrick in AI).
