"For My Lady's Heart" is one of the best historical romances I've read in a long time. Short on steamy sex scenes and long on well-written, suspenseful story, it kept me riveted to the very end. The setting is the Middle Ages, and Laura Kinsale has done a fantastic job keeping the story grounded through Olde English dialogue, vividly described settings and well-developed characters. I wouldn't have wanted to live during that time, but it's a great place to visit. I highly recommend this book.

If you enjoy something a little different in the historical romance department try this book. It is written with a lot of middle english that just makes it richer. There is even a dictionary in the back of the book.
