LOVED this book. I had read the White Queen so this is sort of a PRE-qual to that BUT if you have not read the White Queen it not necessary BUT you will want to when you finish this one. The White Queen picks up RIGHT where this one stops. This book covers the life of Jaquetta Woodeville who is the mother of Queen Elizabeth Woodville (The White Queen). It covers her life from her teenage marriage through the point when they turn over to the York side. It is a must have for Tudor history readers.
