I loved this book, but I'd say it's strictly for history buffs and fans of the medieval genre. It has very little to do with Shakespeare's interpretation of the Scottish queen; rather, it's a take on what little historical evidence there is on her life. This is a great bounty of facts on Medieval Scotland, including customs, history, and superstitions. A great read, if you enjoy learning history as much as you do a dramatic story about politics and personal life.
