I really liked this book about three sisters and how they had to live together for a whole summer up at the cottage in the woods by the lake so they could inherit the money their grandmother was going to leave them. Two of the sisters didnt get along which made the story more interesting. I also liked how the author went from telling you the story from when they were young to their present age. So you got to know the sisters better and find out why they were the way they were. You will find yourself laughing and crying with this story. It is also a great love story mixed in.I found myself reading this book way into the night and I couldnt wait to pick it up to find what was going to happen next.I highly recommend this book. And if you have sisters you will relate to this book even more.

Many parts were laugh out loud funny; well written, quirky characters behaving in a believable fashion. The four sisters work on their long term issues, learn to trust, and to grow up a little bit.

My issue was with the love interest, for me his family story was more than a little implausible.

Loved it! I was right there on the lake with the ladies. I kept relating each experience to my experiences with my own three sisters. The book was so well written. I just dived right in and went on a vacation with them. Now I am missing them....!

As an only child I found the dynamics between these sisters to be very interesting. I'm not sure I would have been so loving if I had an Iris in my life. There were points through the book when I wanted to put the book down but didn't, and I am glad I kept reading. Overall it is a very good, heartwrenching story and worth reading to the end. If only we all had a Clete!
