ok book. not too many facts in it that aren't found elsewhere. If you've read another book about this you have basically read this book also.

This book was an actual intresting read. Seeing that it's a murder mystery but, the way they put everything together and such. It's intesting. Worth a read! Would definatly read again!
Being such a Tragic thing. It's very intresting how they were able to figure things out with her and connor. I mean the technology is very intresting now adays. Definatly a good read.

A very sad story of a young mother to be and her supposedly devoted husband. Scott Peterson's behavior had cast a mysterious shadow over the death of his pregnant wife. His alibi was questionable; his admitted affair with another woman and his altered appearance finally led to charges of capital murder. A spell binding read.

I enjoyed the book, it was well written, however I knew most of the information already from the newspapers.
This was a quick read and brought back memories of when the crime actually happened and I watched it all on the news.
More information on the history of Modesto and Laci growing up than other books I've read. Actually doesn't go much into the investigation or the arrest and trial of Scott Peterson at all. It truly is a book about Laci, but a good read.
This was a pretty good book which gave a good summary of everything that went on behind the scenes basically. It leaves off before Scott's preliminary hearing so I was kind of dissapointed that it didn't get into any of that. Good book otherwise.
It's a horrible tragedy. A young woman brutally murdered and her unborn child murdered also. Turns your stomach and makes you mad as it should. I can't help but feel sorry for the family of Scott Peterson. They are just as much the victim as the Peterson family. One family lost a daughter, the other a son and both a grandson.
I will say again as I do every time a book doesn't really click with me, READ IT YOURSELF, YOU DECIDE.
Full review on my blog.

Excellent book! This true crime novel outlined the details of Laci Peterson's murder and Scott Peterson's trial and verdict. I always find these books interesting, and this book was short and sweet enough for anyone to enjoy. This particular account of the crime was intriguing, but not as much as the JonBenet Ramsey book I read years ago written by the main detective on the case. Reading about the double murder of Laci and Connor Peterson is scary indeed because Scott seemed like such a nice, normal man. It is sad to read about how they appeared so happy to everyone else, and also sad to imagine Laci never saw it coming. I felt neglected that it wasn't revealed to readers regarding Scott's motive(s) for the murders. I would really like to read more about the psychological profile on Scott Peterson.
A Great book from a PBS member!! :-D
