The recipes are simple and easy - basic cooking with the emphasis on low calorie foods.

Most recipes are for one or two servings - good for singles who like to cook.

The format is a large hardcover 3 ring loose leaf binder with separate categories for dinner entrees, soups & salads, drinks, seasonings & sauces, vegetarian meals, ethnic dishes, desserts.
