This book was written in conjunction with a rather enjoyable PC-based RPG. It reads like the captions for the story board developed to plan out the game. I enjoyed Feist's other writings, but he seems to have mailed this one in. A very disappointing read, but necessary if you are trying to follow the storyline of the Riftwar Legacy series. Good time to see if that speed-reading course you took had an effect!

This was the first book by Raymond E. Feist I ever read. I am thankful I found it because his books have become my favorite of the entire genre. All the books are a definite must read!

Not my favorite Fiest book, redundant, and kind of boring. I have enjoyed him in the past, but I wouldn't recommend this series.
