I love this book. Not only is the mythology a great read, but the patterns are nice.

I really can't recommend this book as anything but a curiosity, even though that probably means it will sit on my trade shelf for a year and then go to Goodwill.

This book has too much touchy-feely crystal-gazing crap for a knitting book and too much knitting for a New Age affirmation book. Patterns are written really oddly, yarn selection is useless, as most of the yarns are no longer available, projects and instructions are shown only in drawings, and references to websites for more information lead only to "site not found" messages.
