Second book in the "A Knitting Mystery" series. This also was just as good as the first. Author put alot of work in creating the regular characters more fully. I never realized how deadly items associated with knitting can be! :) This is a series that is probably going to be best read in order.

"Knit Fast, Die Young" is the second Knitting mystery by Mary Kruger. In my opinion, this one is even better than the first one. When the much-hated editor of a New York knitting magazine is murdered (stabbed in the back with a knitting needle, nonetheless!) at the Freeport Wool Festival, yarn shop owner Ariadne Evans finds herself one of several suspects. This was a fast-paced mystery which kept me guessing until the end!

Great book. Murder mystery with a background of knitting. Those who knit (like me) will appreciate the characters.

Second and hopefully not last book in Kruger's Knitting Series. Ari and her friend Diane are participants in the Freeport Wool and Yarn Festival when suddenly in the middle of a downpour a body literally falls into Ari's arms. And this isn't just any body, this is Felicia Barr, the much disliked owner of Knit it up!, a magazine that could either make or break a knitwear designer. Reap what you sew. http://tinyurl.com/2nu84r

I really enjoyed this cozy mystery! It's the first time I've read anything by this author. The novel was easy to follow, even with references to book 1, I didn't feel lost as to what was going on with the characters. It was a smooth, quick read. Very enjoyable! :)

I usually can guess who the guilty person is in a cozy mystery, but this time I was wrong by a long shot! Definitely looking forward to getting book one and hopefully there are more to the series beyond this one.

Enjoyed this very much, great twist at the end. Characters are developing nicely.

Cozy mystery, second in the series. When a murder occurs at a wool festival, all the attendees and vendors are suspect. Kruger tips her hand too early and anyone who's read any of these will be able to identify the murderer very early on, even though there's one unexpected twist at the end. High point for me was an interrogation scene in which a non-knitting cop is totally befuddled by the perfectly logical actions of a yarnaholic.

In this second book of Krugers new knitting mystery series, yarn shop owner Ariadne Evans once again finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation when the unpopular owner of a knitting magazine turns up dead at the Freeport Yarn and Wool Festival. Includes an original knitting pattern. Original.

Surprise! This cozy mystery was a fun read. Characters from previous book made we want more. Author develops mystery at a craft fair with interesting sidelights. Would love to go to one like this. Suspects all viable and unique twist, not a steamy read. Just enjoyable.

The 2nd book in the Knitting Mysteries staring the character of Ariadne Evans by Mary Kruger. I enjoyed this book as much if not more that the first one "Died in the Wool". The characters have a lively appeal to them. I hope that there will be more stories with this cast of characters. I would highly recommend this series.

A little too predictable in plot, but since I raise sheep and knit I enjoy the comfort of the subject.

This is a light and fun little murder mystery, I read it in one evening, then passed it along to a co-worker who is an avid crocheter, and she also read it in one evening. It has enough intrigue, romance, and character development to carry the story. I learned something about knitting culture, and enjoyed the Massachusetts setting since I am from New England. Simply an entertaining way to spend an evening at home.
