A Knight and White Satin by Jackie Ivie

1540 Scotland

Known as White Satin, Dallis Caruth is betrothed, and is keeping her family estate and castle by good management and cunning.

Payton Dunn-Fadden is drunk when when he and friends storm the castle, he is interrupted in attempting to rape her, but manages to make it look like he succeeded, using his own blood. He leaves in a hurry out the window.

Three years later he is the King's Champion and on his way back to his wife and the castle that comes with her.
