I'm reading it still but have to say i find her reason to go to NZ sort of childish.
looking for a "real" kiwi man is stupid. Her riding skills lacked so;histacation and only after a few weeks did she admit to finally feeling comfortable going at the speed
limit. I criticize this as I did the trip she did, 4 yrs. earlier. Her description of the views and townspeople were very accurate and that is what in my humble opinion should have been what she should have concentrated on.
The Man thing was trite and unnecessary. I've ridden 2 times in NZ and it is a beautiful place. We rented BMW bikes and spend a month in NZ. It is the size of Colorado and almost or just as beautiful. the people are friendly and charming. and on a motorbike one can get away from the tourist traps if they choose.
So i'd give it 3 stars.
