I have to admit that I wasn't really looking forward to Hawke and Sienna's book. I knew they were going to be a couple, but they didn't seem like the right fit to me. I am so glad that I was proven wrong! They were great for each other. Sienna was the perfect foil to Hawke's stubbornness. He had some hangups due to his parents' death and the death of his mate at a young age. Sienna had to work constantly to control the power of her specific ability. They've both been through a lot of pain in their past and I liked how both took the effort to make it work.

I really enjoyed the storyline involving the X designation and how far some members of the Council will go to get what they want. The love story involving Walker and Lara was a sweet touch as well.

I have been waiting for Hawk and Sienna's story so I completely devoured this book. There was an added bonus of Lara and Walker's story as well.

Hawk (ah, sigh...) was incredibly sexy throughout the book and surprisingly Walker wasn't bad either. Walker didn't do much for me in the other books. Oddly enough I think Singh has really tone down her love scenes. They were less descriptive than before and less rowdy, at least when it came to Hawk and Sienna (they actually don't do the deed until almost to the end). But she did throw in some extra passionate time with Brenna/(another, sigh...) Jude and Lara/Walker.

I think Singh's strength are definitely in making hunky males and creating great character interactions. The action scenes were a little weak and I'm not sure I liked the X-men Phoenix moment towards the end, but overall it was enjoyable. If you have read her other books you know that the overall plot doesn't move much in her books, it's really about two people getting together. This plot moved a little bit more than usual and there was a small sense of completion. Some of her other books kind of left you hanging.

Good read, typical Singh novel in the series. If you have never read her, this is not the book to start with. You should read one of the earlier books first.

Excellent book.
Often when there is a lot of buildup to a couple over several books (in this case 9 books) the book winds up being a letdown. Not so in this case. Nalini Singh has a total winner in Kiss of Snow.

The book is a bit slow, I think it wouldn't have seemed as slow if we hadn't been waiting for this story for so long. She took her time revealing them as a couple, letting them get to know each other as a man and a woman, dating, and taking the relationship in slower steps. She also gives us a side story of Walker and Lara that we can also enjoy and a lot of progress in the Psy Counsel/Changeling conflict.

This book was so complete, so satisfying, I almost feel like it could be the end of the series. Doors are open, you can see new characters, new story in the making (and there is another book after this). But if you want a period at the end of a sentence, this book could be it. I've felt frustrated with a few of the books, like Singh had lost her way a bit, but this really left me with a satisfied smile on my face.

My only complaint in the book is that Nalini Singh has too many "S" names. Sascha, Sienna, both living in Sierra Nevadas. I kept getting confused!

I took my time before starting this book because I was worried about disappointment in some shape or form. I need not have worried! I enjoyed Sienna's revelations about her abilities. I loved Lara and Walker's story too. I like how the whole storyline with the psy/Silence continues to unfold.

With each book this series gets better and better. Kiss of Snow has been highly anticipated and Nalini Singh doesn't disappoint her readers.

The story focues on the main characters of Hawke and Sienna but the readers are given a glimpse into the lives of some beloved characters too.

This book was such a wonderful continuation of the conflicts building in Play of Passion--Singh continues to amaze me with her intelligence & imagination & writing skill. She weaves a beautiful story, and this book is no exception.

It IS slower-paced than some of her earlier works. However, the detail she gives to Hawke's back-story is incredible. She really gave the SnowDancer Alpha his due.

A delightful read, a heart-pounding ending...I cannot wait for her next Psy-Changeling Saga installment!

Over all its a great book, but since I usually start a series from the beginning I couldnt understand what they were talking about like EPsy or TPsy but as the book when on I picked up what most of it meant. I might read the others later on but it will have to wait a while.

I read this series straight through from book 2 through Kiss of Snow. The closer I got to Kiss of Snow, the more I was really looking forward to leading it. And I wasn't disappointed. As someone else said, it moved a little slower, but there was a lot of details in there of Hawke's past. And it was great seeing Hawke and Sienna finally get together and explore their relationship.

And so it continues.. Can't wait until the next installment of the series!

This is the first book that I read that introduced me to Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series. I was immediately hooked. Hawke and Sienna are a fun pairing, and finally realizing how powerful Sienna truly is, brings great depth to the story.
