Monique Vicknair has a secret- she's a medium, dedicated to helping spirits cross to the other side. Unfortunately, she's been so busy, she hasn't taken care of her own earthly needs. And it's been a long, long time. So when she meets recently deceased -but-oh-so-sexy Ryan Chappelle, she's more then ready for a fling. Even if it is with a ghost!

Ryan is no stranger to the pleasures of a woman's body, and his death hasn't changed that. But he's never wanted anyone the way he wants Monique. So he's refusing to leave this world until he makes love to her. And if he has to break all the laws of heaven and earth to do it, he will. Again and again and again...

The first book in the Sexth Sense trilogy. Monique Vicknair, like the rest of the family, is a medium that helps people cross over after they have died. Monique falls in love with her ghost, can the romance survive his passing? Interesting concept for a "ghost story"!

This was a pretty good book overall. There was too much sex and sex talk for my personal liking, but it is a Blaze, so I expected that. Aside from that, the plot is really interesting. The Vicknair family are mediums, and receive messages on a silver platter in their Louisiana plantation home when it's time to help a spirit cross over. Aside from this responsibility, they also hold regular jobs and are trying to get their home classified as historic property so it won't be condemned in Hurricane Katrina's aftermath. I thought the ending of the book, while happy, was kind of a cheat, but I still look forward to reading the next book in this mini-series.
