As if the art collection in this book wasn't enough for me to decide to keep this book after reading it, Parkinson's humor in describing he work was definitely an added bonus. He's one of my favorite fantasy artist, not only because he's quite good in interpreting what the author describes when he does a book cover, but because he's honestly critical about his work when he feels he may have gotten something wrong. This book is a keeper!
