This was a good fantasy in the Riftwar series. I liked how the characters Nicholas, Harry, Brisa and Anthony became more confident and sure of themselves. I also liked how they and their friends faced the many challenges in their path.

Wonderfully woven story. Any fan of Raymond Feist will love it!
Entertaining book about Nicholas, Arutha's youngest son, out to prove himself.
Good characters, decent action. It's part of a series, I think, but stands well alone, since I didn't know the rest of the series.
There is a crease on the cover of this otherwise excellent book.
