This book was a bit darker than the first book and I thought there was more tension over all.
One thing I did like was that Rabbit, as powerful as he is, was shown to be at the mercy of someone who had more skill than him. And how his stubborn refusal to accept what he is, mage and king's heir, placed him and others in danger.
Well written and intriguing.
