Full of political intrigue. As a true crime fan, I am finding it difficult to seperate the politics from the actual case. I am only halfway through the book at present, and do find the story itself to be fascinating.

This is from the back cover. I have not read this book. "Eleven corpses. All were young women. All were mothers of small children. And all were no more than whitening bones when they were found in the fall of 1988 and winter of 1989, just off highways leading out of the historic whaling harbor of New Bedford, Massachusetts."

Gruesome and terribly bungled case. Good fodder for a 'late night' journey into bizarre behavior.
