As usual, Bill O'Rielly does not disappoint. Fascinating and intriguing would not be an overstatement. I was spellbound while reading this book as the historical significance of the events in this book tell a multi-leveled perspective of WWII. Contained within the book there are at least 5 stories of events leading up to and in the occurrence of WWII. Although very few facts of the war in Europe are contained in this book, the war of the Pacific is highly detailed. Caution: Not a book for the week of heart, as there are many grueling details within in the book. So be prepared. I am confident that Bill will publish a children's edition of this book and it will be interesting to see just how its written.
